People walk up and buy tickets, because they are available and it's convenient. When the tickets become a little hotter you will see more people buying them early, or in packages.

thanks to those who decided to go to the game (mostly Eagle fans, I'm guessing)......now I can unload my ticket (done) and stay home, have a BBQ, and watch on the HDTV with my cheap Coors beer. 

How come you just don't stay home every week and watch the game on one of those crystal clear silky smooth internet feed?
