Chace, if you're really in Cancun, you should try to make it to Chichen Itza. It's not too far from Cancun. Today would probably be too crazy/crowded because of the alignment. I went there about fifteen years ago. Man, am I old. The locals call it Chicken Pizza. You can climb to the top of the step pyramid. At least you could back then.

BTW, the alignment with the center of the galaxy supposedly took place 4.5 hours ago. We're all still here and our pass D still sucks.

Also, Mayans never predicted the end of the world. Just the ending of one cycle and beginning of another. Change abounds.

At this point, it would be more a sign of the apocalypse if our pass D suddenly was great, with sacks and picks galore like you know when...*sigh*

I think this might actually be the "hell on Earth" afterlife, these days, ever since the real apocalypse in 2002/2003 when the stars aligned, the universe opened up and the Bucs won the Super Bowl.

Now that I've clicked the link you provided, we were planning to add this pkg on for $109 a person and also do the Tulum Mayan Ruins and Xel-Ha Snorkeling Tour. Glad you said it's worth it. Thanks.

chace, I've been to Cancun 15 times. Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, snorkeling, Tulum, Xcarat, even Merida are great(old style Mexican City) Chichenitza is great but the pyramids in Mexico City are something else. Enjoy.

This will be my third time. Have done Isla Mujeres. Took a catamaran over to the island stopped at a few spots to snorkel. Pretty fun time. I think Mexico City might be in that cards for a future trip, wanna do Rio and a European cruise before that though.

I lived in Sao Paulo for two years. Don't go to Brazil, you will never come back. It's that's nice and the women are the most beautiful in the world. Enjoy.
