There was nothing about Freeman's performance, first or second half, that was fine.If they throw ball there and Freeman overthrows a receiver for the umpteenth time today resulting in an interception, the call is questioned too.

I don't think many would question the call. I do however think many would question why Freeman would have overthrown the receiver.
Ya, that loser run call to Martin was so similar to Gruden's genius pass call to Jurevicius to beat the Eagles....

There's no reason not to try for a first down there. The run was just a give up play.

No reason not to throw it.Agreed ...and the way V-jax was feeling it you could throw it his way and chances are he was coming down with it regardless of coverage. It was a chickensh!t call. End of story.

He needs to learn when to go conservative. That wasn't the time. Did he really trust the pass D to get it done? Philly had way too much time. Horrible job of coaching.I agree with you but I never thought we would be talking about Nick "Freakin'" Foles and the present Eagles team of having "too much time" left on the clock.Shows you how bad our secondary really is!

shocking that in hindsight many disagree with a failed call
Quote from: VinBucFan on December 09, 2012, 10:39:36 PMshocking that in hindsight many disagree with a failed callThe problem isn't that it was a failed call. The problem is that it was very clearly destined for failure and shouldn't have been called.
