And a defense that can take the ball back. And when I watch Flacco I see a lot of the same issues as I see with Freeman, but his supporting cast makes the shortcomings look not so bad. No way are the WRs a push, and Rice did not have a better season than DougieSame players at wide receivers Hate, and I would take Rice over Doug every day - and I like all thee of our guys a lot as well.

Have you seen what Russell Wilson has to work with? Or Andrew Luck?

This year's Rice over Martin? Lets just say we'll agree to disagree. As for TE, at least a portion of your post was correct.
Everyone compared Doug to Ray Rice. Then Doug came out as a rookie and matched Ray Rice's best year. I can't understand the thinking behind a Bucs fan that says he'd take Rice over Martin every time. I mean is it just a grass is always greener thing? We have a Ray Rice clone. He has proven he is every bit as good, maybe better, and he is ours. We drafted him, he is 100% Buccaneer....but you would still rather have Rice? Just blows my mind Dbuc.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Only thing Rice has on Martin is that he has done it for four years to Martin's one.
