I'll take 2 division championships from 2003 -2008.    I wish this team the last 4 years had that same spirit.

QBs is NFCS at that moment... Delhomme, Vick, Brooks. Our record while... .500.
Race for tallest midget describes this very well. If Gruden as our coach will make the OTHER teams suck again, i might consider. But then there's still 0-2 in the POs. Maybe he can dwarf rest of NFC aswell. I would not fear the AFC much, since he will just steal their playbook again.

Sorry, but the QB of the Saints in 2007 (the last year the Bucs won their division) was Drew Brees, not Brooks.

Delhomme took his team to a Super Bowl.    And Vick was tough in his prime on the Falcons.

Sorry, but those teams suck compared to the teams in the south of right now. We missed out with 10 wins in 2010, would have been enough to make it during the Gruden years.
SEA made it as a 7-9 team.
Gruden sucked after that SB, especially when it came to building a good team. I would not trade Schianos team for the band aid teams of Gruden. But i would not mind to have Gruden at the sideline on sundays, aslong he stays away from the team for the rest of the week.

Not likely.   That was the weakest schedule in NFC South history.   Thats why all the other teams in the NFC South won MORE than 10.   Gruden would have won 13 that year given that crap schedule.

If you calculate by previous season, it was not, but it defintly was a crap shedule, in 2010 those teams sucked even more than 09, it was even weaker for the saints in 2010. But I doubt the 13 wins with gruden since Gruden just won 12 with a #1 defense in 2002, and 10+ just twice more.
Just 2010s team would not have been Grudens team, not enough washed up veterans on. And thats why he deserved to be replaced.
If Gruden would have been able to get anything close to the talent of 2002, we would not just have to wish for THIS spirit to still be strong here. But he sucked at building a talented team.

He sure did a good job rebuilding the Raiders.    So your theory is already proven wrong.

Which was done by AL&Allen. A Davis knew Grudens strengths and weakness, on and off the field. He even knew the team would do better with Gruden leaving, which was proven by the raiders making the SB the year after. He just underestimated his own dementia, having ruined the team ever since.

Had Gruden not left the Raiders team, they would have won the Super Bowl in 2002 with Gruden as HC.

pure speculation, i mean, would he have beaten the titans as he did in 01?
I would say he would have gotten another DUI or traded for D Marino. Maybe he would have still gotten there, maybe would have lost to dungy then.

All Callahan did was use Gruden's exact same system.   That's why he got his ass handed to him in the Super Bowl.   You can't use Gruden's system against Gruden and expect the D not to know everything you are doing.

Gruden had done such a great job building that Raiders team, it was primed to go to the Super Bowl in 2002 whether it was with Callahan just going forward with Gruden's system or if Gruden had stayed on.    The difference was they would have won the Super Bowl over the Eagles in 2002 had Gruden stayed with the Raiders and Dungy with the Bucs.

I wish the spirit of Gruden was still strong here.

His spirit is still present - just at Hooters.

I have no issues with the current system,  just with the current Qb and his inability to grasp the system..
