Quote from: Ms Elam on December 25, 2012, 08:20:10 PMIf Jarvis Jones is Von Miller 2.0 sell the draft for him. D. Milliner is the top corner right now and I think he's just ok. I just dont think Jarvis Jones is the animal Miller is. But everyone of the draft analyst are sold on him. Jones doesn't look like the naturally ferocious pass rusher that Miller is. He just looks like he's more athletic than college tackles, and that means squat in the NFL.Von was a much, much better athlete coming out. He is like a lessor version of Miller. Miller has a better burst off the line, bigger, and has longer arms. Jones also has a mild case of spine stenosis so who knows how much he has left in the NFL. It was the reason why he transferred from USC to UGA.I don't want ANY of our draft picks, especially on defense with medical history. AC and Bowers is enough, a third would be tragic. That said, I'm with you on Milliner. I'm not 100% sold that he is a legit top 10 prospect or screams elite, best CB in the nation. There are plenty of CB's in my opinion who are just as good as him. Bradley Roby and Logan Ryan can be had in the latter then we should definitely trade down.

We blitzed the hell out of Sam Bradford and he still had all day. It is a problem.
The pass rush was an issue but consider that we lost our best D-linemen (atleast in 2011) Clayborn after 6 weeks, as he was sacking Romo. I think with Bowers, Bennett and Clayborn that we'll be okay at DE... I do think we could improve at tackle, so options would be Henry Melton, Jason Jones, Glenn Dorsey even Richard Seymour ... Or draft one, I like Sheldon Richardson or Kawann Short... Where we'll be drafting 10-15, there will be some DE that falls and will be available, sure would be tough to pass on a Damontre Moore, Sam Montgomery or Bjorn Werner... That Ansah kid will turn heads too

Clayborn is coming off a devastating injury that nobody seems to be talking about, Bowers is always hurt and still not proven and Bennett may not even be a buc next year. ts a concern and to blame the scheme to me is BS. In any scheme your job is to get to the QB on pass plays and we get thrown on more than anyone and have the fewest sacks. If we don't get help it will be worst next year.

Guys tear knee ligaments every year now and come back 100% . Not nearly as devastating as it was 10-15 years ago.

Brian price! If you look at the potential this d line had a couple of years ago and the way it fell apart, its eerily similar to all the potential the o line once had with a young trio of trublood, Joseph and Sears. I guess price would be Sears. McCoy is Davin, a pro bowler who looks dominant at times but average at other times and he is largely written off by buc fans.
