The Buccaneers announced this evening they have activated CB Eric Wright who recently served a four-game suspension for Adderall. Tampa Bay also announced they have released CB LeQuan Lewis.

I assure it probably does. But the Bucs will have to pay him like 1.5 million or something.

Makes ZERO sense.

This actually means nothing. The Bucs had to activate him from the reserve/suspended roster to the active roster before Sunday or they would have to cut him now. This does not mean he will even be active on Sunday.

Incorrect....if Eric Wright is injured in the game vs Falcons and is cut by Bucs this offseason THEN he would cost them the extra 1.5. If he plays tomorrow and comes out uninjured but is waived in the offseason then Bucs don't owe that additional 1.5 milly.

The Bucs would be insane not to void the contract. Wright has killed his value with all of the issues this year. That said, it wouldn't necessarily be a horrible idea to renegotiate Wright at a much lower number.

Wright is not good.

He is vastly overpaid.

He is still ensconced in a fog of futility that have followed him since college.

Cut bait. Dom would be smart to do so.
