Lovie Smith would be better off going to the Cardinals - better stadium, city, life, etc etc.

Who wants to live in Buffalo?

I bet the fans in Buffalo are a lot better and would absolutely love a guy like Lovie there. Those fans are more passionate about their teams than TB and AZ combined.

But you've got to wonder how much McNabb was responsible for Reids' success

I don't think anybody with a clue wonders about that.

Have you been to Buffalo? There's not much to do other than follow the Bills - sort of like the fans in GB.

Really? What has Reid ever won?

7 Division Championships, one conference.

11 winning seasons (.580 winning pct).

Probably knows a little about running a football team.

Yup...and ZERO Super Bowl wins...that's what being a HC in the NFL is all about...right?

When he gets a ring...then I will sing his praises

so in your mind, the following head coaches aren't worthy of your praise: Bud Grant, Marv Levy, Chuck Knox,  Don Coryell,  George Allen,  Dan Reeves, Marty Schottenheimer.  None have won a SB.

Still think Buffalo might be the worst franchise in the NFL to take on as a head coach.  Even Mike Mularkey saw the writing on the wall - he quit and later took a job w/ JAX.

Not a fan of Chip, but if they can get him a decent QB.....the have the perfect offensive weapons in Philly to run his offense.

Draft Aaron Donald

Kelly appeared to be evasive when asked about it by ESPN pre-Fiesta Bowl.......said he hasn't talked to any NFL teams,  that he's told his agent not to bother him with it, and that he didn't talk to his team about it but he couldn't guarantee Oregon fans that he'd be back next season.  He looked like we was lying about a lot of that.

If Kelly enters the NFL...i'm not sure I'll be able to watch the Bucs with peace of mind unless he totally flops.  I know that's horrible, and i'll always watch and love the Bucs, but it'll be a thorn in my side forever if he comes in and pulls a Harbaugh in terms of molding a franchise.

This space for rent....*sigh* I trusted you coach.

Our special teams sucked this year. We should have begged him to come back.

I agree that's the best fit, but I don't think he's running "his offense" in the NFL. I think you hire him because he's a good coach, not because you like his scheme.

As Charles Davis said - and he thinks he'd be a very good NFL coach - you can't run his scheme in the pros in part because you can't practice it during an NFL season - rosters are too small, league is too physical (too many players on bikes).
