He's already first time HOFer lock.

I hope so, but I don't think there's any way this is true.

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

Sapp, Brooks, Lynch and Alstott need to go into the HOF before Ronde.

I don't know if Ronde can take another year of Schiano's offseason conditioning.  From what I understand, Greg spares no man from his ridiculous training camp regiment... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, unless you're a 37-year-old corner.

I think the last thing on Ronde's mind would have to be offseason conditioning. Ridiculous training regiments are what keeps Ronde, Tony Gonzalez, and every other dinosaur in the league playing at a high level. I believe his decision of retirement is going to be based more on things like health, family, and love of the game.

Alstott will never make the HOF.  I'd like to see Brooks and Ronde go in together.

My favorite as well.  I agree that he will  be highly missed.  I love his nickname this year, The Ageless One.   As much as I want to see him continue, it would be wise for him to leave now with his health and legacy fully in place. For such a small guy, he leave huge huge shoes to fill.  Love you Ronde.....

You realize that would mean Brooks is bypassed a couple of years for that to happen.

Don't think so.

He had better make it!    I liked him better than Ronde.

Fortunately, who you like isn't the criteria.

Alstott in only if the voters were Buccaneer homers.

Alstott re-defined the position of the fullback.

Ronde is more likely to be a first ballot guy than Brooks.  Neither have a prayer.

And Ray Guy is the greatest punter of all time, and he didn't make it.

People outside of Tampa are more likely to view Derrick Brooks as not making the HOF than a first ballot guy.
