Bucs Pick 13th In 2013 NFL Draft

Bucs will end up with the 13th pick in the draft. Miami's opponents ended up with one less win and thus had a weaker strength of schedule as compared to the Bucs. For those that say the Bucs didn't accomplish anything by winning except hurting their draft stock...even if they had lost, they'd have only picked as high as 9. Winning moves them down 4 spots to 13. I think the win goes a long ways to building confidence towards next season. Hopefully the 13th pick of 2013 will be a lucky 13 for the Bucs.

With the way things unfolded...we would have only been as high as 10 anyway...so it's not like everything fell our way and we were going to be 6th.

Lucky 13....at least in front of NO and Carolina....lets steal someone they're wanting to draft.  But who knows, maybe MD will use that extra 4th to trade up a position or two if someone we like is there.

I could care less.  This is the draft we all will remember as being one of the best in a very long time.  Schiano will bring in nothing but defensive players and perhaps an o-lineman or two.

Based on GBN's strength of schedule before today's games(which is usually spot on) Buffalo and the Jets had an easier strength of schedule and thus the Bucs would be behind them. With that said, I just ran the numbers and I think the Bucs SoS got easier and they now might be in front of the Jets and behind the Bills still so they would have been 9th. Anyway...we will know for sure after the Dallas game tonight.

We actually might be in a coin toss with Miami. I am not sure how SoS works as far as ties. Both the Bucs and Miami's opponents had 127 wins so their winning percentage is the same. Miami has one less loss based on a tie game. I think this may come down to a coin toss...so we will pick 12 or 13.

It goes by overall record and then strength of schedule. Carolina's strength of schedule is higher and thus their schedule is considered harder and thus they are better and thus pick below us. With that said...as I just mentioned...we now may be tied based on what happened in the early games with Miami. There might be a coin toss for 12/13th picks.

    Underclassmen coming out, as always, will affect the draft order. We also have the 4th rounder to maneuver up with. We could also move down and pick up another pick. It's Dominik time...
