That would be a dream draft for me but I think Ansah will be a clear cut first round pick after the combine and Bailey will be gone in the first 50 selections

Aggreed, lots of things will change in 4 months....but based on current rankings this mock is realistic.....and .....satisfys our needs. I think I like the last four picks as much as the first four.

1 - CB Xavier Rhodes FSU
2 - CB Logan Ryan Rutgers/Jordan Poyer CB Oregon State
3 - OT Oday Aboushi Virginia
4 - TE Joesph Fauria UCLA/Levine Toilolo TE Stanford
4 - S Phillip Thomas Fresno State
5 - FB/RB Lonnie Pryor FSU/Rex Burkhead FB/RB Nebraska
6 - BPA
7 - BPA

this mock assumes we stand pat and do nothing in FA other than resigning Michael Bennet and that we dont trade up or down. it addresses key needs in the Defensive Backfield, a new RT and potential Futre LT, a TE, and another guy to use as a FB and power runningback. im still working on my draft of what we do if we hit FA hard and do trades.

7-BW Webb William & Mary

Why would the Rams take a CB in round 1? They already have 2 very good CBs and it seems silly to draft a nickel CB at #13.

little tweaking to mine

1st - Xavier Rhodes CB FSU / Johnathan Banks CB MSU trade back with rams and acquire a 3rd rounder
2nd - Logan Ryan CB Rutgers / Jordn Poyer CB Oregon State
3rd - Oday Aboushi  OT Virginia
3rd -  DJ Swearinger S South Carolina
4th - Joseph Fauria TE UCLA / Levine Toilolo TE Stanford
4th - Joe Kruger DE Utah / John Simon DE Ohio State
5th - Conner Vernon WR Duke
6th - Lonnie Pryor FB FSU
7th - Anthony McCloud DT FSU

Completely upgrade our secondary at all positions.  acquire a new RT with LT ability. Acquire another TE, Fauria is a better pass catcher, toilolo is a better blocker. both offer geat size inthe redzone.. Vernon should be a very good slot receiver, runs great rutes and has very good hands. Pryor provides a powerback and dangerous fullback out of the backfield. kruger and simon provid solid depth in the DE rotation. Mccloud provides NT depth.

needs are filled and will allow us to focus on next year. couple these draft picks with some work in FA and we should have pretty much all of our holes filled and will be abe to start actually building some depth on this team and focusing on getting more playmakers.

i can always add more  :D. i basically threw mccloud on there because i cant think of any other DTs in the 7th that ive actually seen. i do however think Pryor would be a good fit in this offense with his catching ability and the way he blocks could really get martin moving. Banks and rhodes are 1a 1b  to me so im good with either. i thought of adding a gator player in the 2nd but i doubt sharriff foyd is still there and we need corners in the worst way

the CB depth in this draft picks up where DE starts to drop off. IMO taking a CB in the 2nd/4th is comparable to taking a pair in the 1st/3rd because this draft is loaded with CB's in the mid rounds...i could see dom trading back up into the 1st to get one of those "top-3" CB's though...but as of now, i'm on the 1st round DE train

round 1: ezekiel ansah - DE - BYU
round 2: will davis - CB - utah state
round 3: d.j. swearinger - FS - south carolina
round 4a: leon mcfadden - CB - san diego state
round 4b: levine toilolo - TE - stanford
round 5: ricky wagner - OT - wisconsin
round 6: josh boyce - WR - TCU
round 7: zac stacy - RB - vanderbilt
