Or at least bring in Marinelli as the DC. Have him run a real NFL defense. He was DC for Chicago this year and their defense was virtually unstoppable until Urlacher went down.

This Rutgers defense will not work in the NFl, period.

Marinelli would seem to be a great fit here. Not available yet, though...

He should be available soon. The big question is.....would he want to work for Schiano?

Marinelli forgot more about NFL defenses than Schiano ever knew.

Not sure Marinelli would want the job, but he is the right man for the job.

Not that I'd be upset if it happened, but there is a better chance of me becoming the new WR coach than seeing Schiano fired (unless he decides to kill a hooker in the next week).

How is that so? This is a very talented team that just went 1-5 to end the year. That is worse than Raheem's meltdown last year, because Raheem didn't have 1/2 of the talent this team has.

I think the $12million they owe him makes it so nearly no matter what record the team had last year.

Happy and Peppy and Bursting with love.

Will Marinelli bring Jennings, Tillman, Peppers, Briggs and Melton with him?

He will bring an NFL grade defense. A defense that puts players in position to make plays.

This defense was unwatchable for me this year. Terrible scheme, no doubt.

If you listened to Mark Dominik's show on the radio from the other day, you would have heard him say they are excited about the team because they have the right coach in place.

Hope all you want, but Schiano ain't going anywhere.

I hope Freeman turns out of his slump. Much better chance that happens than Schiano getting fired and Freeman has really been easy to doubt lately.

I'm holding onto hope that you'll stop posting useless shlt. I'm certain that neither of our hopes will be fulfilled.

Scheme does suck, and hopefully we get a new DC(Tomsula) that comes in and installs an effective system....but coach S will be here for the next 2 years minimum.

Dom will be on the chopping block before Schiano...and rightfully so.

So you are saying its more about the personnel than the coaches?
Then why do you want Schiano fired?
