Forget Carr.

How about Tebow, Tony Romo, or even Alex Smith?

David Carr was molested so hard by opposing dlines, that it all but ruined him.

Would rather have Nassib. I think this kid might develop into a good starter one day.

I can see us getting tony romo via trade

Tony Romo? He's an older version of Josh...
i would say without looking at stats that tony romo is a lot more accurate than freeman

Carr was targeted last year to be Freemans backup because he was familiar with Sullivan and his offense. Now that Josh has been in the system for a year this really isn't relevant. If Carr comes here its to compete with Orovsky, not #5.

I saw the game that put David Carr on the map in college; i have to admit that I'm biased a little towards him.  David Carr obvioulsy hasn't had the greatest career; but, then again, the only criticism I've ever heard about him is "he got sacked the most than any qb in history".  Well, it's been quite a few years; his body should be o.k. by now.

Everybody has their insights; maybe Sullivan has his; i'm for bringing in a veteran and a draftee; David Carr would accomplish part one for me.

Alex Smith would be a good play.

Alex Smith would be a good play.

He'll cost a draftpick.

Lol. Carr?

No.

Draft a QB in the 3rd round this year.

chace, I think you should be in charge of selecting all of the Bucs cheerleaders!

If the coaches think he could run this offense better than Freeman could you get him.

Your assuming Freeman has mastered Sullivans system.  I have my doubts.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

I believe that the correct motivation for Freeman to get his act together is not to give him a new contract and then a francise tag until he gets his act together.  If there was someone around to coach him at the AB position add that person.  Otherwise, we don't need no stinking QB competition in TB.  That didn't work out too well the last time round.  In fact, it was a fiasco.....We had so many loser QBs it wasn't funny.
