I know how Schiano is with discipline and having a roster full of squeaky clean players, but this dude might be the closest thing to fixing our secondary and he'll most likely be able to be had in the 3rd or 4th round because of what happened this past year. He is going to be an AWESOME NFL player, and is a playmaker all over the field. I would be so hype if we were able to draft him with one of our 4th rounders. Regardless of the weed suspension, he was the team's leader on the field and loves playing football more than anything in the world. Schiano should atleast be able to buy into that.

I don't see it man.  If he sent Talib and a couple others packing, no way he goes after this dude.

I just think he is going to be a solid player with some nice splash plays in the NFL, not the probowler others are pegging him as.

If we draft a a character issue with mega talent player it better be Da'Rick Rodgers the receiver from Tennessee. He has the potential to be a #1 one day

Lotta mustard on this hot dog.  I don't see it happening but I'd never say never.

Turn the page.

At the moment, we still have Ron Cooper as DBs coach. I'm sure he will lobby for bringing in the player who basically got him this job.

Exactly. We passed on Rams CB Janoris Jenkins in the previous draft so what makes anyone think we'll pursue honey badger? lol

We will probably just sit around like we always do and watch him go to the Saints, Falcons, or Panthers and cry about how we should have drafted him.

I guarandamntee we will regret not taking this guy if that's what happens. What does us not drafting Janoris Jenkins have to do with anything? Jenkins not only isn't nearly as talented as Mathieu is, he was arrested 3 times in one year, fathered 4 kids with 3 different women and also had to switch schools in his 4 years in college. Plus the dude had commitment issues in if he really even loved the game or if he was just talented. The Honey Badger is all in, loves the game and is a leader on the field. He can be a transcendent type player in the NFL. Quote me.
