Trolling 2013.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Give them Freeman for Brandon Flowers straight up.

I'd do that. Seriously.

We'd have to go after Alex Smith hard then. I don't personally like him, but he is the most competent option. He's only got one year left on his deal, so we could trade for him and not give him a new deal. One and done....unless he turns out to be really good in this system. Then he could be franchised and given a new long term deal. Most likely we'd be looking to the draft for a new QB in 2014 though.

Brandon Flowers and Xavier Rhodes? This defense would instantly be sick.

Who are you higher on, Rhodes or Milliner?

Rhodes > Milliner, IMO

Rhodes > Milliner, IMO

I think it's close. Probably more of a 1a and 1b, rather than a 1 and 2. The thing about this draft is while there are no top flight elite CB prospects that just knock your socks off.....there is a large amount of solid CB prospects. I think Milliner and Rhodes will be the first two CBs off the board. I think they both go in the top 15. I think they'll both be good NFL cornerbacks. I prefer Rhodes.

If we could get Rhodes in the 1st and Logan Ryan in the 2nd, I would be ecstatic. But the FA cornerback will be the most important acquisition for the 2013 season, because it is highly unlikely that any rookie CBs are going to come in and be great right away. It just doesn't happen often.
