Come on, JR, unlike you to be showed up like that. Get back on your "A" game.

When I made the post, I was well aware of who won it last year.   Normally when teams lose their senior "stars", they drop.   Looks like the juniors at Alabama won that National Championship.   They carried Barron.   That's pretty obvious now.

Ridiculous. All it shows is that Saban is an excellent coach and has a staff of master recruiters who have studs waiting in the wings for their opportunity. There were times in Barron's first NFL season where he was just plain awful, and he may never develop into the player that the Bucs hoped he would be when they drafted him @ #7...but the dude played lights out at Bama. He was actually a contributor. I doubt he has the coverage skills to contribute in the NFL like he did at Bama, but I hope I'm wrong.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

So Barron was a product of the system.

Or he is just one of the many players who will never be as good of a pro player than they were in college.

I'm all for criticizing Barron on his play as a Buc..he played like crap....but just because the Bucs reached for a guy, doesn't lean the guy didn't play well or was "carried" in college.

Ban ND from any future BCS championship/playoff games until they join a damn conference.

What a joke to see those Mickey Mouse mother **CENSORED**ers competing for a nat'l championship. I'm sure we could easily name 20 other teams that would have at least made this year's BCS CG somewhat watchable.

I feel cheated. **CENSORED** ND!!!!!

Oakland won the AFC only because they got rid of Gruden.
'bama gave up 9 points to LSU in 2 games plus OT. This year? ...14 in 1 game, even ND scored 14 on 'em. This year they won because they had an offense to speak off, prolly because barron did not interrupt any trainging session for his offense anymore.

I like your logic, lol

No run first team would beat Bama. That was the heart of NDs problem going in.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

One of the ESPN channels is showing the game again, and that "non-catch" by the Stud TE for ND was definitely the right call.

Replays show: he had the ball in 2 hands out-stretched, but foolishly started to tuck it in his left arm-- but right before he hit the ground quickly 'shuffled' it across his body into his right arm.

Yeah, there is a reason it wasn't reviewed.

Whoever wins the SEC should automatically be given the National Championship.   The quality of football there is superior to anywhere else by far.
