Mr. Teo took a beatdown on the field and on his draft stock.

Actually for people who really watched the game, their defensive line played pretty well. It was extremely poor run fits by the linebackers and missed tackles in the secondary that led to big runs. Te'o had an awful  game either being late to his fit, or just missing a tackle.

That being said, it's always ridiculous to judge someone based on one game. I've always thought of him as overrated and not very fast to the ball so this fits with what I've seen and expect to see from him at the pro game.

He was awful and just plain whiffed a lot on tackles. I don't see him as a great coverage MLB so I don't see him as a major upgrade on Foster.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

It may have only been one game, but it was the best representation of the kinds of talent he'll be seeing on Sundays.  He clearly wasn't equipped to deal with Bama's superior size and speed.

Agree with folks saying that he's not someone I would want to draft.  If we do draft a linebacker, I want a speed rush guy like A. Smith or Von Miller, who could drop down and play DE or be a blitz specialist.

He's a good linebacker but against a running offense like Alabama he doesn't belong on the field. His game is playing the pass. Sort of like Luke Kuechly last draft. Great in coverage but only average stopping the run. He's gonna be a good NFL linebacker. Except against the old school smashmouth teams like Seattle.

Should also add that I wouldn't draft him at 13. Not a big enough need at linebacker.

He lost himself some money last night.

While it was just one game, Manti's draft stock definitely took a hit. Hard to explain the poor tackling. He'll be seeing Lacey in his nightmares for awhile.

He did look bad last night.
That said, I remember Miami making FSU's Derrick Brooks look silly in one game.  Completely out of position.  He turned out OK if I recall correctly.

Teo is slow as a mule while Brooks was a fast LB. try again

I'm one of the people who wanted the Bucs to draft Teo, and move Foster outside. But after seeing how slow he is, i don't want him in the 1st round anymore. Foster already has his problems playing the pass, Teo would be even worse.

Nobody is worse against the pass than Foster.
