One of the biggest risks with signing outside free agents is the leap of faith you take because of the unfamiliarity with them. You don’t know what kind of locker-room presence they'll have, how they respond to coaching or whether they’re simply players of strong character.
I still worry that Nicks might not be a solid investment. So far, he's been hurt, and for what it's worth, has stated publically that he won't give the bucs hints about the saints offense. Then there is always the scary part, brees only takes three seconds tops to throw. It makes any lineman look a lot better on paper.Not trying to take anything away from the guy, but I do have concerns.

I loved the Nicks signing and I really thought we would get an underwhelming VJ. He had his best season ever and seems worth every penny we spent on him. I really didn't think we would get so much out of him.I didn't know much about Eric Wright, I liked what I saw early in the year, he seemed to be a play maker, he got hurt, he got suspended and it's hard to know what would have happened.
