He was the browns offensive coordinator when Anderson had that breakout year. I remember a couple of people wanted him last year to coach the bucs

Excellent hire for the Browns.  The Panthers will regret not firing Rivera and promoting Chudzinski.  It will be interesting how Cam Newton plays without Chudzinski.

The guy who Cameron Newton and panther fans complained about all season? The guy who went from using college plays one year, to running a college offense the next year and all but ignored 90 million dollars in running backs. Im surprised so many hear like it. Cleveland sites and mass media sites see it as a confusing hiring to be nice. But I think its a flat out bad hire. The offense will thrive for a few Weeks at some point next season, just as the players start getting comfortable with in the system, they will climax once there is enough tape. This is a bad hire, at best there 8-8 but I think this is still the 4-12 browns.

I think Norv may have lost some of his luster.  He is supposedly a great offense/QB guru.  But if you look at Philip Rivers,  he seemed to regress badly under Norv. He is still only 31, these should be the prime years for him, and he looked horrible last season.
