Olson Hired as Raiders OC

I don't think Olson is good and also don't think he's as bad as people on here think, but this is an odd fit in that he's been associated with man blocking teams for a long time and the Raiders have been ZBS for a long time.

The Raiders were using man blocking for a long time (so DMC had success) and then last season they switched to ZBS, so DMC was terrible.

Good move switching back to man blocking IMO.

OK I guess I'm wrong. I just assumed the only way Cooper Carlisle has started in the NFL this long was in the ZBS.

Well, at least we can all predict the Raider's offense.  Runinto the back of the line of scrimmage two times, then throw a pass short of the fist down that is caught and injurers player. Player out.  Punt and repeat./  Exception:  one yerd goal line stand, run three times into the back of the pack, scramble and get tackled 5-10 yards behind LOS then kick field goal.   Repeat.
