Missouri Southern State Defensive Tackle Brandon Williams 6'2" 340lbs

I watched this guy last year after a random tweet from Mel Kiper early in the college football season. The three games I was able to watch were impressive. He is a mountain of a man, but it's mostly muscle. His initial get off is ridiculously fast for a 340lbs man. His hands are heavy and violent.

Off the field he is as polite and thoughtful as can be. Humble guy. Cleans porta potties in the summer to help his mom out with money. Apparently he is no longer a secret and has been getting a lot of attention at the Senior Bowl practices. I'm excited to watch him in the Senior Bowl and I would love for the Bucs to draft him.

WOW, you could say that again!

Usually, when you hear 340, a different body type comes to mind.

Video was worth watching just to appreciate how well this kid is put together.

Will mostly likely turn lots of heads at the combine.

Seems like his head is on straight too which will help his value climb.

I've read a 3rd-4th rounder value wise but rising fast.

Turn the page.

He has climbed the boards, but is still rated as the 10th best DT on most ranking sites. Of course ranking sites mean very little. All it takes is one GM to pull the trigger and he could go much earlier than expected...like Bruce Irving or Tyson Aluhalu. I'm thinking when the dust settles he'll probably go in the 3rd. That is when I would target him if I were the Bucs.

If we could sign a FA DT (take your pick of 5 or 6 names that will be available) and then draft this kid, well I'd be pretty stoked with our DT rotation.

Understand this is a small school so he plays verse sub par talent, but in three years of college ball he had 27 sacks, 56.5 TFL, and 145 tackles (72 solo) That is impressive for a DT at any level.

Snag him before Saints do. Guy would be a good prospect to anchor the middle of their 3-4 and they love those small school kids.

Its a good thing the Saints don't have a 2nd round pick and we do pick ahead of them in the 3rd round.   I dont think the Saints can really afford to trade up and lose more draft picks.

Didn't see him do much in the Senior Bowl, so maybe his stock stops rising now? Could still be a later round pick. Then again, he is the type of guy that will probably do very well at the combine. Guess we'll see.

saw him do very well in 1 on 1s during the practices. blasted a guard and then used a swim move to blow right by him. moves pretty well for a guy that bit. the other small school guy that impressed me was the kid from tennessee-martin(cant remember his name) that played DT. he executed a beautiful swim move on one play and damn near took the handoff from the runningback. quickness like that at 320 is crazy

Its funny I keep hearing how he is a 3-4 NT. It's like if a DT is over 310lbs he automatically is a 3-4 guy. I don't buy it. He's got to much burst to just be a space eater.
