We needed offense.....and you type as if Gruden was the only guy capable of providing that.LOL - now you recall the coaching search at the time - and the candidates. And you know of all the candidates the one that might and did win a SB was hired - at too high a price (the draft pick part). Mariucci, a worthy target, got his team to the playoffs..... without the benefit of the #1 defense in the league.

That does seem to be the part they never catch on to - once you start playing, you've already lost.

And imvho he is one of the most overrated HCs
Quote from: Illuminator on January 20, 2013, 09:22:47 PMSo you're saying a team that has been focusing its resources on defense should have a better offense than a team that has been focusing its resources on offense? That sounds perfectly logical - if you've got a bucket of sand in your vag.I can't make my statement simple enough for you to understand. My apologies. I always thought you were just an azzhole. I did not know you were impaired as well.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.
