Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing.     In my mind, Elite QB's have big games most of the time. The next tier of QBs have big games too, just not nearly as frequently.
    If the 49er D doesn't play a lot better pass D than vs the Falcons, Flacco might really shred them. Should be interesting, with both teams sporting good run D's and good running games...

I remember visiting the 49ers board in the offseason and the way they sounded, they thought that Josh Johnson was as good, or maybe better than Kaepernick.

Just being compared to Johnson, I didn't expect Kaepernick to start any time soon.
