i think most would approve.

I would strongly disapprove. We need secondary help more than anything else, by a decent margin.

What if Fisher is a 12-year player and makes a couple Pro Bowls and the DB's are of a Brian Kelly level?

Fisher is more of a LT and we need a RT. I wouldn't spend a 1st Rounder on an LT or RT considering the other positions we need to address first

There's one DB worth picking at #13. He will be long gone. Two rookie CBs on the field at the same time (see 2012), not a good idea. Sign one in free agency, draft one in round two, add another in round four. Go BPA in round one.

Heard a lot about Fisher recently.  Seems like he is on the rise.
I agree that it all starts up front.

There are enough weapons on offense to be productive.
Also, the poster that questioned the longevity of Penn and Joseph is totally right.

I'd definitely be into this pick if the team thinks he is the real deal.

If we get a good CB and DT in FA, I'd be happy with a good OT.

Not gonna happen, no way Dom takes Oline early. Richardson, Ansah, if Millner is gone and Banks ain't the guy we go D-Line.

I thought that at first as well but the DL has plenty of young talent at starting positions.

Meanwhile, the OL is still lagging behind.  Penn and Joseph are quickly approaching the wrong side of 30.

Aside from Nicks, the rest of the OL is serviceable at best.

IMO, there will still be a heavy emphasis on the defensive side of the ball even if the team drafts an offensive player in Round 1.

The key is who we get in free agency. I'd be OK using the first two draft picks on offense if we do well with FA CBs and a DT. It wouldn't surprise me if we drafted a WR on day two. We're pretty thin behind VJax and MW.

how many teams have stud WR's behind 2 1000 yard starters?
