Perhaps the GM is hoping to get an OK to do just that.  And maybe not.  Sure would be poor timing to get tight fisted - AGAIN.  How much did the bucs pay Clayton when they last re-signed him... wonder if authorization was needed for that decision.

Just another quality personnel decision - by the same folks who are currently running the team - whomever they might be.  I still throw up in my mouth from the Gaines Adams pick (may he rest in peace).  Had to have him bc Glazer's favorite Rice was moved... geezbus.

That isn't going to happen.  And no, when you look at what Vjax brings on and off the field, compare it to Williams, there is a huge disparity.  Not saying Williams hasn't shown value beyond his contract - just saying everyone can see very distinct difference between the two.
