@evansilva: ESPN's John Clayton said on SportsCenter that Joe Flacco will likely aim for $20M a year in contract talks. Wants Drew Brees money or more.

Does anyone think he's worth it?  I'm curious what everyone thinks on this.

No and I dont think he will get that much. 14-15 is what he will likely get. Maybe even less.

He will come close to it.  He deserves it, regardless of outcome of this upcoming game, IMO.

It would help, though, for him to win (duh).

He has brought his team into the playoffs, and the last two, he has been as steady and reliable as you could ask for, IMO.  Lee Evans doesn't have his teflon gloves on, and they are in...

Flacco has more reliable games, than crappy ones.  He is the Versa-Visa of Josh Freeman.

flacco is a tough one. hes talented and already has one of the best resumes in NFL history with his team making the playoffs every year and his 6 road playoff wins. i just dont see him being worth 20 mil. 16mil or so sounds reasonable if he wins the superbowl. how much does aaron rodgers make? id imagine flacco would end up in that neighborhood

Depends if you think Brees is worth 20+? For me Flcco is around 14-15 million, he is making some big plays but is stil only throwing around 50%, the Ravens D is stepping it up and the runnning game is getting good gain, hard to see them winning at the weekend though.

If that's what you think Flacco is worth then I guess Josh shouldn't even get vet min?

Well...if you go by that criteria, your right. But overall,  I would say Ryan has outplayed Flacco.
