Does Josh Freeman have a chance to be Elite ?

Not as head coach he doesn't.

How much of a HC Gruden was of that 2002 team? I think the years 2003-2008 tell us some about his abilties being a HC of THIS team.

Make the best our of your strenghts. Grudens strength was to win a SB with a team he hardly did put together, someone else did for him. Raheem won as a quality coach.

So why let those guys run your franchise? Keep Gruden away from from drafting and signing FAs. Let him do his job, the job he excells at. His .500 record after 2002 actually tells you something about how he can get the most out a team, which is his strength. Apparently do not let Raheem run the locker room, he already showed he lost it in the past. Being a good quality coach ain't bad. (although i do not want to make Raheem a good quality coach, just because he won a ring as one)

It was obvious we needed a chance after 2008. Our team ran out of blood. Should the Glazers not have thought about just using Grudens strengths, hiding his weaknesses, i'm with you, the firing of Gruden was a horrible move. Just i think Gruden would not have accepted such demotion.

This SB proves average QBs win Super Bowls.  Elite QBs are great to have, but rare.  Also not necessary with a good defense.

You are 100% correct, and that is why average QBs win Super Bowls when they have good teams around them....Joe Flacco, Brad Johnson, Eli Manning, Trent Dilfer, Ben Rothlisberger....etc....

Of course not every throw has not been a jumpball, but a good amount of his passes (especially TD's) during these playoffs have been a jump ball to Boldin or a throw where Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones burned his guy by a good 4 or 5 steps.

The TD pass to Jacoby Jones was an awful pass. If Jones didn't have him beat by as much as he did, it would have been picked. Very under thrown. He's done it multiple other times during these playoffs. In the Broncos game, he overthrew a wide open Torrey Smith twice, which should have been 2 more TD's for him.

I know you don't want to admit it, but Flacco is ALOT like Freeman. Inconsistent and will never be elite, but if you put a good team around him, you can win games.
