Save the money and draft Ryan Swo.pe in the 4th rd and get a fresh young Welker to work the slot.

Was that Boldin in the slot? I think so! Jax, Will, Boldin, Bennett... Scary...

No sense spending a ton on a qb if they are letting his main receiver go... and the guy has saved his butt a couple of times this evening..

I still think they must be smoking crack if they think Flaaco is worth 20 mil a year.

That is the exclusive rights tag number.  Reg tag is 14mil.  Or they could sign him long term for less.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Hasn't sounded like he wanted less. His interview afterwords says otherwise too. Says he's gonna stick it to em for a LARGE deal.

Anquan Boldin | BAL (January 31, 2013 4:30 PM EST) ESPN's Adam Schefter stated on NFL Live Thursday that the Ravens may "very well" end up releasing Anquan Boldin after the Super Bowl.

Per Schefter, the Ravens are $5 million over the projected 2013 salary cap, "and that's before they get a deal done with Joe Flacco." Franchise tagging Flacco would put them roughly $20 million over the cap. Cutting Boldin would save Baltimore about $5.5 million. Although it's not a move the Ravens would like to make, "financial pressures" may force them to. Schefter added that releasing Jacoby Jones could free up another $3.5 million.
Maybe letting go two of the most important players in their superbowl? ouch.

If anything they should Suggs go. Where was he all game? Paul Kruger is their best pass rusher and they did invest a high pick on Courtney Upshaw.

I'd rather grab a guy who can play in the slot like Amendola.

Getting either him or Welker would be great.  Then all we'd need is an accurate QB who can make quick decisions and we'd be set.

You gotta bring back Kruger first, he is also a FA.
