I'd like him as a DC but ST?  Does anyone know if he's good at it?

He did coach Revis in college...so there's that.  He was also just the DC for Jarius Byrd.  Gotta love the offseason.

Great hire, IMO.

He adds more insight on the day to day.

Good hire.  Good guy to have on the sideline in case things go south with Sheridan.

Greg Schiano was an assistant under Wannstedt at the bears in 96-98

Look for Wannstedt to be the Bucs head coach in 2014.

I dunno why the people 'surprised' by him coaching ST and not def couldn't find this themselves, it took all of 5 seconds scrolling through PFT to come across:

"But Wannstedt did take a hands-on role in running the special teams during his time as head coach at the University of Pittsburgh from 2005 to 2010. Schiano was the head coach at Rutgers at that time and coached against Wannstedt every year, and he was apparently impressed enough with Pittsburgh’s special teams to give Wannstedt a job coaching the special teams in Tampa. Chicago's franchise is doing so well they were able to fire a coach that got them 10 wins last season lol

Dan Marino not being able to play for eternity ruined Miami
and Buffalo.. I think you have to be good at one point to have your franchise set back.

Gotta love the Dolphins fans saying he killed the franchise.
11-5
11-5
9-7
10-6
Throw in how much they got ripped for Fiedler, can we get a franchise killer as head coach and really bad QB if those are the results.
That's a better record than Johnson had with the team during his 4 seasons there and Shulas final 4 seasons.
