Gronk is a product of the billb group. Cassel looked good before being traded too. Gronk would be another "OK" signing elsewhere.

Though Java is an assclown.... and we all know it, i can't agree with that 'product of the system' crap. Gronk is beastly....when he can stay healthy.

I agree. Gronk would be a beast anywhere.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

Java's been proven to be a liar on the Gronk crap many times. He never advocated for Gronk pre draft.

gronkowski looks like a no brainer in hindsight.  but the guy had major redflags regarding his back.

And has missed a lot of time with injuries in the pros.  You can have all the talent in the world, but if you can't stay on the field, not good.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Not sure it that's "convenient".   I tell it like it is.   Some drafts, I get the Kiper book and know the guys I want, other years I don't.    If the Bucs want to hire me as their GM, I'll take it more seriously every year.

I still can't believe the Bucs took **CENSORED**ty Arrelius Benn over Gronkowski.

Umm....actually you said Gradkowski...as in Bruce Gradkowski. But I forgot...you're always right.

So it was right to draft Arrelius Benn instead of Gronkowski?    I was wrong to want Gronkowski on the Bucs?

Now I understand where you are coming from.

Yup. You were wrong.

Gronk is NOT a product of Bill. The guy is a monster. Hands down the best TE in the league, wherever he would play.

I have to admit, I wanted both Gronkowski and Hernandez that year.

This was the email sent to my brother on April 23, 2010 (prior to the draft)

Here is how I am guessing the first 4 rounds of the NFL draft go:

Head Coach Raheem Morris fired.
GM Mark Dominik fired.
Jimmy Johnson hired as GM.
Bill Cowher hired as Head Coach.
QB Josh Freeman traded to Oakland for a 2nd and a 4th round selection.
QB Josh Johnson traded to Buffalo for a 4th round selection.
Free agent QB Jeff Garcia signed.

1) Tim Tebow - QB - Florida
2a) Eric Decker - WR - Minnesota
2b From Oakland ) Rob Gronkowski - TE - Arizona
2c) Jordan Shipley - WR - Texas
3) Toby Gerhart - RB - Stanford
4a) Riley Cooper - WR - Florida
4b From Oakland ) Mike Johnson - OG - Alabama
4c From Buffalo ) John Skelton - QB - Fordham

Just Davin being Davin.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.
