Silly pipe dream I am sure. But Blounts issue is that he is most effective in open space, and takes to long to get up to speed. If he could be taught to catch a kick off I'd imagine he could be dangerous when given 10-15 yards of free space to get up to full speed. I know it will never happen, but an interesting concept to ponder and discuss, and the mock draft thread has really slowed down as of late.

Dude cannot catch the ball, everytime Free throws it to him I cringe a little.

Every time Free throws to anyone I cringe a little.

But I agree, while Blount;s hands are nowhere near as bad as people here make out, he's not going to be able to field those kicks.

Blount would be awful on returns, he is too slow and not elusive enough.
