The critics didn't like him because he didn't shake hands and kiss babies...... i say who gives a shlt? Dude handled his biz between the white lines like no other. My ALL TIME FAVORITE Buccaneer. Proud day for me!!!

This. Congrats Sapp! He deserves it. Brooks is soon to follow. Hopefully Lynch too.

I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out to be Marinelli

I can't remember who it was who said the case he makes for a HOFer is - "can the history of the NFL for the period a player played be written without mentioning that player?"

If that is the standard, then Sapp certainly deserved first ballot induction.  He was the engine behind the Tampa Two, which blossomed across the NFL after the Buc's success.

Way to go Warren, you deserved it.

By the way, has anyone else here read Sapp Attack?  If not, I would reccomend it.  Good read, especially  this week.

He said Hardy "spit fire in those early years."

He was fun to watch as well.

Turn the page.

Sapp deserved it. Glad what he did on the field overcame the bitterness some media types had for him.

I can only assume DB is an easy first balloet because of his obvious greatness on the field and his personality. Unless people get all goofy about him not being a pass rushing LB.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

If that's the definition, then Alstott needs to be in the Hall of Fame as well.    He was the definition of a running fullback for that period of time.

I wish Hardy had stayed with the Bucs for the rest of his career.  If he had, we might be looking at him as another HOFer.
