I guess everyone forgot Mallett is basically Freeman with less mobility.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Freeman is not going anywhere, they'll roll with him this season.

Mallett's track record off-field makes him a no-go for Schiano who is looking for upstanding citizens (Buccaneer Men).

mallett doesnt seem like the type of QB to fit in NE's offense...but he'd probably fit in pretty well in our offense.  id offer a 4th.  id like to give him a shot here, but i wouldnt bet the farm on his success.  save our picks for next seasons QB crop.

Do not give up draft picks. If anything, Schiano should have offered Talib for Mallett straight up instead of only getting a 6 or 7 for Talib. Wouldn't give up a 2nd for an unknown 3rd.

Mallet's extensive experience against real competition in the regular season has me sold.

If Mallet can cover opposing wide receivers, do it.

I'd give a 3rd. Loved this kid at michigan despite being in a bad system. Huge arm. Real tall.
