He didnt play much at Michigan, He got the bulk of his time at Arkansas after transferring. You sure you were watching the correct guy?

Better than Freeman? Probably, but not worth an early second round pick to find out. Thats too big of investment. You don't waste a second and not play him at some point, and what if he doesn't have big success? You'd have Freeman and Mallet which cost you a second, and the possibility of not addressing QB in the 2014 draft and rolling with one of them. We're stuck with Freeman next year. The most they can do is draft a promising QB in the mid to late rounds and if Free gets hurt (or stinks it up) the rookie can go in and try and impress. We will be looking for a first round QB in 2014 unless Freeman becomes a good passer, or unless the 2013 mid - late round QB pick turns out to be a diamond in the rough.
