With free agency fast approaching (March 12) Pewter Report takes a look at some potential free agents at the Bucs most pressing need – cornerback. After surrendering the most yards in the NFL in 2012, Tampa Bay will need to find lots of help in order to become a playoff contender in 2013.

If they are able to get a couple of decent FA CBs then I think they really should think about going BPA in the draft. We all know the main problem with our defense last year was the secondary. If they figure that out, I think its a much tougher defense and creates some flexibility with what we want to improve next. Pass rush, TE, Slot reciever, DT, Safety. You cant improve them all. Just get the best guy available.

Smith and Grimes would be the only guys I would give decent money to.  The other guys are the usual FA crap that people whine about not signing.

What's wrong with Cox? Injured at times, but a very solid player.
