Decent..but I honestly don't feel he is much of an upgrade over Dotson.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

True, but he would provide us with some depth at the position. Depends what his asking price is.

Loadholt is a must if the Bucs are serious about upgrading their O-line. Dotson is a nice player, but Loadholt is just better.

Loadholt is massive, a proven value, better than Datson, and Donimik has said he prefers OL who have been in the league rather than drafting.

Datson is a gem as a backup, can play both sides.

Loadholt would complete the OL and provide protection for Free. Only 26 or 27 yrs old, could probably play effectively for 7 to 8 yrs.

I presume True is gone, and so we have to get a 3rd tackle.  Maybe Loadholt is not the staff's choice, but we need someone by the start of the season.

I don't know about that. I'd prefer we drafted a new starting OT or aquired a better one through FA. Long, Bushrod, Baker, Clady are all better options IMO. Loadholt and Dotson would be great for depth though.

What about a guy like Sebastian Vollmer from New England? Hes still young and due to be a free agent as well. I am a bit of a homer for him though due to him being from Germany and the first German national to get drafted. One of my best friends is a diehard Pats fan though and speaks very highly of him, and up here we get ALOT of Pats games and hes always looked decent to me (again, that could be my blind national pride more than anything). He seems to have been unseated by Nate Solder, and Im not sure as to where he stands in his teams plans, but Im thinking he could come for a moderate contract.

Loadholdt. Just a freight train. A guy like S has to drool when thinking of running the ball, and this guy makes sense.

Not so sure about his PFF numbers...

Loadholdt is my #1 choice at RT. He would be a huge upgrade. Absolute steam roller in the the ground game. His only knock were the peneltys, but put his toes on the line and they should clean up.

Loadholt would be a massive (pun intended) upgrade at RT.
