Jonathan Cyprien over Phillip Thomas please. Cyprien has much better close speed and range and will be a beastly FS from day 1.

Fluker...isn't he projected to be a guard in the NFL?

He palys RT now but yes, could be moved inside

I think what Boid is saying, is that scouts are reporting fluker lacks the movement to play outside.

Not a single TE or OL drafted, yeesh. I really see Jones dropping farther, much farther, than that.

I would love this draft minus the WR from A&M, would prefer to dig into the depth at line in this this years draft.

Can someone enlighten me about the CENSORED part of the A&M guy's name?

I agree with JD, I don't like the Jarvis pick at all. While I'll concede we need to replace Black, I wouldn't want my 1st round pick to be a 2 down strongside linebacker.

DT or OT would be my pick. I really like Richardson here, other than that if the draft played out that way I would be happy about it. However, until we see who we end up with after FA, any mock drafts at this point are just wildass guesses.

The overly simplistic profanity filter is triggering on the middle part of Sw.ope.  It thinks it's an ethnic slur.

If they spent that sort of resources on him, I can't imagine that they wouldn't find a way to keep Jones involved on passing plays.

Crazy, but thanks for clarification.

I wouldnt mind Jones at #13 at all.  He can play SLB on 1st and 2nd...then drop down and rush the passer on 3rd with a nickle taking his place and moving AC inside.

Do you think Thomas will be available in round 3?

And Lane Johnson plays RT and will move to LT should the opportunity present itself - we have guards unless there is a cap crunch....

Those big hits look great on "jacked up" but I want a FS that can ball hawk....that's Phillip Tomas

Interceptions > big hits

A free safety in the later rounds is fine, but why the 3rd? Barber says he wants to come back and Ahmad Black has looked good. Good safeties are found every year in the 4th  and 5th rounds. I just can't imagine taking one in the 3rd when it isn't a glaring need and there are much more valuable players still available. For my money, the 3rd round this year is for a Tight End.
