ESPN's John Clayton believes the Seahawks could be a potential landing spot for free agent DE/OLB Dwight Freeney.
Freeney is coming off the worst season of his career after making the switch to outside linebacker in the Colts' new 3-4 defense, and is not expected to be back in Indy. "If you're (Seattle), you call Dwight and say, 'Listen, if you're going to get big money in free agency, God love you, we support you 100 ways. But if indeed you struggle a little bit and need to take a little bit of a flier on a team, look at this team,'" Clayton thought out loud. Two weeks shy of his 33rd birthday, Freeney's market is hard to forecast, but we don't doubt he'll be looking to latch on with a 4-3 team.

Tampa should be after Freeney with this draft being heavy at corner. I think as a rotation player he could play another 2 years while some other guys develop.

I dunno man, his buddy Dallas Clark is trapped here in Tampa and desperately wants out, but can't escape even though he's  a FA.  I doubt Dwight wants to be stuck trying to get out of here too....

I didn't think this draft was heavy on corners. I believe the Bucs need to address corner in FA. Jenkins, Grimes, DRC. One of those or maybe even two. Then draft BPA

As a OLB yeah, but put him back at DE he's a double digit sack leader. I think Freeney is the bookend to the D-line. Bring on the corner situation.

It's enough for the Bucs to have a chance at having a solid player at corner.  The first 2 rounds have good depth that can fit Schiano defense. I see them sticking with Johnson at Nickle, DRC would be great if he brings the effort Tampa is in need of speed at corner and a playmaker.

I dunno man, it's definitely a strong CB class, IMO.

I'd love to bring Freeney to Tampa. He may be getting old, but the guy can still rush the passer and that's what we need. He may not be good against the run, but that's why we have Bennett, Bowers and Clayborn. We need a pure pass rusher who we can rely on to get pressure and Freeney can be that guy.
