Eli, Ryan, Freeman and Schaub too high. Brees and Romo too low.

What QBs that are below Ryan would you move ahead of him?

Schaub isn't that good, just on a stacked team.

Kaepernick and Wilson took over teams who A. had top 4 defenses. B won playoff games recently with Alex Smith and Matt Hasslebeck. This is where all these Freeman hate stems from.

Middle of the pack is where Josh belongs. With several others. Very up-and-down from week-to-week when you're stuck in the pack.
Break free, Josh, just BREAK FREE!

Original article in the Times is kinda screwed up. Kinda mashed Eli & Tom Brady together; came out Eli was 35...

The Freeman "hate" stems from Freeman's erratic play.  The sooner you realize this and quit cherry-picking your stats, the better off you'll be.

And this is a poor-to-awful list.

When debating a player's performance, i've never in my life seen someone pick and choose thru games so much to try and make a point.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

Freeman should be right around 16th or 17th, which is why he drives us crazy.

Cutler for one.  And he has the 4 rooks right behind Ryan.  That is ok for now, but I look for them to bypass Ryan after next season.   Kap, Russell. Luck and RG III

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Considering the article was written by a homer Tampa boy, that explains why Freeman is so ridiculously overrated on that list.   Kaepernick #9?   What a laugh.

Here's a more realistic list.   (There are some backup QB's who would be ahead of many on this list, but I'll only list the starters.)

1. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
2. Tom Brady, Patriots
3. Peyton Manning, Broncos
4. Drew Brees, Saints
5. Matt Ryan, Falcons
6. Eli Manning, Giants
7. Andrew Luck, Colts
8. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
9. Tony Romo, Cowboys
10. Robert Griffin III, Redskins
11. Matt Stafford, Lions
12. Joe Flacco, Ravens
13. Cam Newton, Panthers
14. Russell Wilson, Seahawks
15. Matt Schaub, Texans
16. Philip Rivers, Chargers
17. Sam Bradford, Rams
18. Jay Cutler, Bears
19. Colin Kaepernick, 49ers
20. Christian Ponder, Vikings
21. Andy Dalton, Bengals
22. Michael Vick, Eagles
23. Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins
24. Mark Sanchez, Jets
25. Josh Freeman, Bucs
26. Carson Palmer, Raiders
27. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills
28. Jake Locker, Titans
29. Matt Cassel, Chiefs
30. Brandon Weeden, Browns
31. Chad Henne, Jaguars
32. Kevin Kolb, Cardinals

Not sure which list is worse, yours or the OP's. Both are garbage.

Mark Sanchez and Christian Ponder over Josh Freeman? Andrew Luck over Big Ben? Matt Stafford over Joe Flacco? Are you serious dude?

For the OP's list, Eli Manning at #3 is hilarious. Peyton is too low. Freeman is too high. Romo, Rivers and possibly Cutler and Newton should be higher than him.

Romo is way too low, Kaepernick is too high, Stafford is wayyyyy too high. Why is everyone so obsessed with Stafford? He's had one really good year, that's it. And he has the best WR in the NFL. He makes a ton of awful decisions.

Pepsi - Pretty good list.  Only things I see that could be big misses are Dalton.  He doesn't have the best team around him, but he has played really well.  Also, Vick is pretty bad now... he could be in the mid 20's.

Rivers and Romo before Freeman. 14 is too high.
Yuck.. Freeman is better than those 2

There is certainly the potential of greater upside with Freeman, but as of 2/11/13, Freeman is better than neither Romo nor Rivers, IMO.
