their GM better be a cap wizard.

They have their franchise QB locked up for another couple years making only $1M a year. They can afford it. Once Kapernaek gets a new deal in 2015....then they'll have to get creative or send Revis to his next team. But they'd get two years before it was a problem, and the way they are playing. that is enough time to win a Super Bowl.

Just no nibbling.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

The 49ers were one good CB away from winning it all last year. If they had Revis (and he's healthy) that makes them even scarier. With the number of picks they have...I could easily see them trading their 1st and their later 2nd round pick. Trading Smith to KC for their 2nd means that even if the 49ers trade their 1st...they would still have a pick just 3 picks later. They also have 14 picks coming into the draft.

Whoa...shiver me ****in timbers!

Welp, dom had better be getting his rape boots ready.

Seriously, I doubt he goes there, and it's most likely just going to drive the price up. Now dom will have to outbid a team that is better than we are.

A holes.

Yeah...why would he go to a team like the 49ers that are one CB away from a Super Bowl, when he could come here? Silly Revis.

A source tells ESPN's Chris Mortensen that the 49ers are "not inclined" to pursue Darrelle Revis at this time.
If Revis were healthy, it would seem like a no-brainer for the Niners to break off some of their 15 draft picks and hand them to the rebuilding Jets. But no one knows just how effective he will be following his ACL tear, making a long-term deal a major risk. And without that new contract, Revis would essentially be a very expensive one-year rental. Additionally, this 49ers' regime has set a precedent of not paying big money to other teams' free agents. We'll see if they change their tune once April's draft gets closer.

Once March 9th rolls around the Revis talk should really heat up seeing as trades are able to be fully put through on the 12th.

He doesn't have that option in his contract.

No team is going to trade for him unless he agrees to a new deal first, so he decides where he goes.

Wouldn't mind Revis as I explained. Why do I want him?

He is the best. And he can shut down one guy. He is the great equalizer.

For a first and a third...maybe LGB as a carrot on the end of the stick.  Ryan must be getting wood thinking if LGB bulldozing in that offense with a young QB.

I'd do that in a millisecond. Hopefully the JETS do business with Tampa.

It looks like the Niners may be losing interest, according to Mort Report.

A first this year and a third next year, sounds ok to me.  Would he want to play here though, is the question.

He used to be the best...don't know how he will respond coming back from injury...

A first and a third is too much to give up given the question marks i.e. Revis' health, contract, and how does he mesh with Oden

You must be accountable for your actions!
