Preesh the info "Mah sources". Haters gonna hate. At least you are generating some
Football gossip.

I get tired if reading crap about collegiate athletes that people haven't watched once all year but feel as if a YouTube video is qualification enough.

Revis: 13M/yr
Smith: 8m/yr
Goldson: 8m/yr

That doesn't leave us with a hell of a whole lot.
We don't need Smith if we get Revis. I'd roll with Lewis and a rookie.

I agree. Revis+a rookie+a mid level CB+re-signing Ronde(or drafting a rookie FS in the 2nd or 3rd round).

Should leave plenty of $. Smith and Goldson @ $16 mil would be overspending if Revis is nabbed. You could get 2 rookies, re-sign Ronde and a mid level FA at half of that cost, and get pretty close to the same production.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

Doesn't bother me at all, I am loving all these threads with updates. This forum is so dead compared to most of the other big team boards, I appreciate all the info everyone is posting. That said, this is turning out to be fantastic if true, if we could some how get Revis without giving up the first, and then draft Star with our first rounder, our pass defense would immediately be so much better.

Neglecting the cap situation, because I still don't know if I can get behind paying a corner 16 mil/yr, I would be very inclined to give up two 2nds. I wouldn't hesitate giving up a 2nd and a 3rd.

I wonder if Cox would sign for a little bit of a discount, maybe somewhere around 6 million/year.  He's got the injury history, is familiar with our D-backs coach, and may relish the opportunity to play opposite Revis where he'll see lots of passes coming his way.

Dimitroff said he is using his cap to resign his guys, not Revis.

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

Where are these numbers coming from?   They all seem high,  especially for Cox.

This website has some predicted numbers.  They were pretty close with Flacco's and Bowe's contracts.  They have Cox predicted to be 7+, and Smith at 10+.  Nobody really knows, though.

Thanks mg...  spotrac is a pay site...  grr

Per futures -
Cox $31m / 4 years
Smith $52.5 / 5 years

Makes Toler and Williams < Cox.
