They should be better in the back end but Im still worried about our Pass rush. Hopefully Bowers, Clayborn, and Gmac all stay healthy.

Along with(hopefully) the other one or two rookies who come in to bolster this pass rush.

The pass rush will be fine since the secondary will be able to hold up for more than 1.5 seconds. Seriously, its impossible to get to the QB or push the line into the QB when the QB can release the ball at the bottom of his drop everytime.

There were so many times last year, WR's were open in like 2 seconds. And I'm not exaggerating either. Guys we're running down the field uncovered, especially the first ATL game.

The scheme was horrid. We had guys playing tight on the line, and just let the WR go with free release. We had guys sit back and give cushion and still get beat deep. It was ALLLLLLL bad. Sheridan will be gone next year if this defense isn't sniffing an above average pass D. We seen what a horrible scheme can do to a player of Revis caliber in Scrabble with the Eagles. If that happens, Tampa will be picking top 5 in 2014 and fans will be going NUTS if Revis plays like Scrabble did post-Oakland.

Sorry if this has already been posted. Haven't been paying much attention to this thread, but I thought I would share this Revis interview with Sal Palantonio.

Shouldn't happen, baring his injury or course.

Essentially it's the same basic scheme. Run stunts and weird angles on the los, so that alternate biltzing personell can hurry/sack the QB or hunt for RB's, which in turn causes someone to be on an island with a wr. Usually that guy in the jets defense was revis.

All schiano will be asking revis to do is the same basic thing he did with the jets, shadow #1 24/7. That's the big difference between Aso and revis, the scheme. Scrabble had to learn a new one, but revis will not have any of that.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

Be advised, Darrelle Revis thread is no longer sticky. And we have no more tape.

I still cant believe they got this done. Even I was a little pessimistic it would get done. Like Boid says it just seems to be that way with this team. Getting Revis was a great move for a city that needed this kind of boost. It wasnt just about getting a corner. But a star player that the whole city can be excited about. Hopefully the season tickets are moving quickly now.

I know the crowd at RayJay is going to go extra nuts on Revis' first pass deflection or pick.
