well, that's a person-to-person thing.

I think we are trying to trade up, so I'd say  top 5

Okay, I'll set aside the absurd notion that the Bucs might package Revis in a deal to move into the top five and pretend that it's plausible.

You're saying you think trading the #13 last year, the #7 this year and a 4th rounder for one year of Revis and a top five pick isn't gross?

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

Noy saying it's perfect, but itis by far the worst thing...If we have a good offer, we'll take it. No way we cut him for nothing.

There is no "Too much" if revis comes back 100%

That's only true if you don't understand math, Beatles.

This was a fun exchange!

And in a couple of years when we are struggling against the cap and have more holes emerging we'll look back and say what a stupid move it was to not just handicap our drafts by losing picks that could fill other positions, but also look at all the cheap labor we could have drafted instead of overpaying for FAs because we didn't have those picks.

Times have changed and people still look at the value of picks the way they did before the CBA.  That is no longer a valid ruler to use.  The teams that will be successful going forward afre going to be the ones that can wisely use the draft scale to help manage their cap.  The difference between paying the thirteenth pick this year and Revis for 4 years is goingt o be close to 50 million.  Paying two firsts would be 40 million less.  That's huge difference that needs to be accounted for.

Slow clap!

There's no shame in just saying, "I was wrong, Naismith was right! I hope we do better in the future!"

I've said all along I think it's going to happen. I'm just hoping Dominik is like, "If only there was a sign. Let me sign on Pewter Report." And then he sees my post and is like, good enough. We're out.

Man, Dom, I didn't even post it in the pay section where it would have cost you 10 bucks!

Oh, man, I almost feel bad for the Beatles beatdown I handed out on page 558. Not only did I make you look ridiculous back in May, but in retrospect...

"Meh."

I will start accepting acknowledgments of my Revis-related genius from all the pro-Revites now.
