Yes, because signing Sean Smith or Brent Grimes will put leverage on the Jets.

This is such dumb logic because Revis is so much better than both of these guys.

Uhhh...the leverage comes from the money being spent on CBs, and with the #13 pick, the potential lies in getting a solid CB in that way as well.

And if Revis is not dealt, and soon, he will eventually walk away for nothing, which is the last thing Idzik wants.

Yes Revis is better than Smith and Cox and Grimes individually, but with two of these guys we are a way better team then with only Revis. His asking price means it is only him. The other guys would love to get 7-8 each

It's time to wake up from the Revis dream... To get a deal done Dom! Sean smith, grimes, DRC, someone!

Darrelle Revis is owed a $1M roster bonus Saturday.
A meager $1M shouldn't affect the urgency when negotiating a trade of this magnitude. But this is the Jets, so you never know. Per ESPN New York, they're engaged in talks with the Bucs but "no trade appears imminent." Meanwhile, Revis is on vacation in Paris and a picture of him wearing a Falcons hat has surfaced via his manager's Twitter page.   Mar 13 - 9:13 PM

Revis and DRC should never be used in the same sentence.     ]j/k]

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

I think this is still alive. Believe it or not. The Bucs will make a move at CB and I'm not talking draft. Primary: Revis. Secondary: Smith/Grimes. Tertiary: Draft.
