You can't build a football team by putting so many resources away from the lines.

Except in the la la land here in Tampa.

Even then, the Bucs poured so much money with Zuttah, Nicks, Joseph and the interior seems very weak right now.  Most NFL teams pour their money at the tackle spots instead. Does Penn stay or go? Should Dotson stay at RT or shift to LT? Lots of question marks still.  Defensively so much money is tied up with Goldshon/Revis that the Bucs will have to draft a LDE and hope that player pans out.

They wouldn't have the nerve to try to sell us on the idea that Dot is a sufficient LT... lol   Then again, who knows at this point.

I like them all. They are probably great people.   I don't think that they know what they are doing, tbh.

Did anyone in this thread have the foresight to believe they would attempt to use revis in zone coverage?

That's one I would've never saw coming.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

Nope.

Mixing in zones with m2m is fairly common.  But playing so much zone with Revis? It is just fail.

There's a very real chance the Bucs waive him before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

Ya were really missing the CB we would've taken in round 1.

Sarcasm aside, it was and still is a great trade for us.

Depends on the new GM/HC.

But that scenario is only possible if the Bucs are cap strapped.

I agree about GM/HC, but when you give up that much for a guy, there shouldn't be any scenario where it's a discussion after one year.

No staff is going to get rid of Revis lol.. The guy is playing good for how bad this scheme and team has been. He is going to be a huge selling point to just about any defensive coach.

I'm willing to discuss anything with anyone, but I mostly just ignore snide comments that don't engage in discussion or debate. I'm sure you don't care whether I ignore you or not, but wanted to give you the opportunity to have intelligent discourse over the topic if you cared to.

Sadly it may be.  :(
