Sogan speaks for a lot of Buc fans (like myself) who are greatly disappointed in Eric Wright and believe he let the entire fanbase down by not living up to his contract and getting himself suspended. We owe E. Wright no loyalty until he shows us that he’s capable of finishing a season as a starting Buccaneer CB. Now it looks like free agent money was wasted and we’re going to have to spend a draft choice or millions of cap money on his replacement.

I think they will try to shop him next week at the combine, for any kind of trade (doubt there is any takers). After that I would not be suprised if they held onto Wright until we get another couple corners in here throught FA or Draft and make it throught mini camp.

If they try to keep him as a starter, I'll know two things.

1) they don't know jack about cornerbacks.
2) another season of 8-8 or worse.

Not entirely true. There are other "Wrights" out there that would gladly sign a fair/high priced contract.

With the money Dom has (if owners say yes) at his disposal, it's going to be tough to screw up FA. We saw what he did when the Glazers wallets opened up last season and it wasn't all bad.

GMs don't bat 1,000 pct on all free agent signings. But Wright was high risk from the get go. He has a track record that should have been a red flag for Dominik.

By my calculation....Dom is batting 0.153 in FA.
