Maybe I'm too young, who exactly is Scrabble?
1. Whats up with the comparisons to Revis to Scrabble? Scrabble was a system guy, whereas Revis has the ability to thrive in any system on his own.

It was argued who was best in the league between he and Revis...until he went to Philly and sucked. Rewind two years and everyone wanted him. Plenty of folks on these boards were ready to fork out the rumor $14M a year he was asking.
We have the 1st rounder and we have the extra 4th rounder . It would basically be like trading Talib and a 1st for Darelle Revis. Steal. The article seems to think he'd sign for 16 million a year. I'd do this deal.Best player in the league at one of the most important positions in the league. How often do you get the chance to acquire that ? It would make our defense lightyears better over night.
That's not true bro. Scrabble rarely had help when he was with the Raiders. He was left all alone with the #1 WR the majority of the time, just like Revis. And while I followed the whole scrabble thing pretty closely, I never once heard anyone say he was a system guy. He was considered to be a top 2 shutdown corner, which is why the rumored price was $14M a year and so many team were trying to get him.
If Mike Wallace went somewhere like Denver, San Francisco, or New England... He could very well be the biggest impact of free agency. Too bad we passed on him for Roy Miller. Stupid.
