cant believe the cord patterson stuff...what a waste of talent or overrated players with bray-hunter-patterson.

brace would have been nice to look at for a NT.

ive only seen one zach ertz game but he was impressive against oregon.  but eifert also looked impressive against millner.  cant lose there i dont think.

PR isnt gonna like seeing nassib as a 3rd day pick.

the Nassib 3rd day pick was an analysts opinion not an actual report. Also I agree with you on Brace, he was a 2nd round pick so he has some talent and he would be a cheap option to at least be given a shot

I doubt the analyst would predict that Nassib is a third day pick, just that he seems him as a third day talent. I like the mock drafts, even though they're mostly a waste (even after the combine), but I'm definitely looking forward to the combine shaking things up.

Because they are in really bad shape when it comes top the capdue to being somthing like $793million over the cap for next year and any new contract he signs is very likely to make his cap number bigger no smaller being as he's playing under his rookie deal.
Plus for as good as he seems his numbers fell off in every stat, sure the injury plays into that but the injury would also play into a new deal.
Throw in that the Saints offense roster seems to be "plug and play" as long as they have Brees and they may not value him as much as you would think.

There are a great number of reasons for not working out a new deal.

He still has a year left on his contract so he won't be a free agent until next year.  Next year they can always use the franchise tag.  The interesting thing would be to see if they have to franchise him as a WR versus a TE.  IIRC, it all depends on where he lines up the most.
