Thank Wayne for providing the foundation for future "gun control."  Congress will avoid direct gun control measures in favor of reducing guns through indirect measures.  One likely measure may have come right from Wayne's mouth.  Wayne wants to put armed guards in EVERY school in America.  That's a fine idea . . . if his constituents are paying for it:

http://www.usnews.com/opinion/articles/2012/12/21/subsidize-the-nras-armed-guard-plan-with-a-tax-on-guns

There are approximately 150,000 traditional schools in the United States. At one armed guard per school, even at a cost of a little over $100,000 per year (salary, benefits, HR, training etc) -- that's about &.5 billion annually to implement "Wayne's plan"  If there are approximately 50 million households in the US with registered gun owners, the cost to them --- for an annual license to carry a gun --  is approximately $300 per year. Or, a surcharge of about $1500 per gun sold (according to the linked article)  That's nothing, right? Well, that's just schools, what about movie theaters and  churches and political rallies and other areas where people congregate?  Well,  start small and just cover the schools.

The next indirect "gun control"  measure will be dropping federal and state laws that provide immunity to gun manufacturers & sellers. This type of measure is already underway, in a western state no less:

http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_22523196/colorado-democrats-roll-out-tougher-gun-proposals-tuesday

Without immunity manufacturers will  have to rethink their sales strategy on assault rifles, one of the big areas of growth for gun manufacturers, and maybe other weapons.

Indirect gun control is coming. Just like taxes on cigarettes and alcohol for their strain on the economy, get ready for taxes on guns . ..  . . thanks for the plan Wayne

180K folks in Homeland Security - and we have to buy them 1.5 billion bullets - to teach them how to shoot... and we can't secure the borders...  we really need another armed agency?  Really?

Oh yea, you could put one rep for Homeland Security in each school... and still have another 30K to secure the borders.
