ESPN Boston says free agent CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is one name the Patriots might consider should Aqib Talib "get too expensive."Beat writer Mike Reiss "thinks" the Patriots have "always thought highly of" DRC, and he's one name that could be at the "top of the list." The Philadelphia Inquirer expects Rodgers-Cromartie to command "big money" on the open market, while the Sideline View's Adam Caplan doesn't expect to see DRC back with the Eagles. Turning 27 in April, DRC checks in as our No. 7 free-agent corner in a stocked defensive backs class.

DRC looked pretty good in that Bucs/Eagles game last season. Other than that game, I haven't seen him play too much. I would guess he is a mid level guy on the available CB's list.
Which might make him a top tier guy in FA.If we're going after big corners, him and Rhodes would be a perfect fit.
However, for this defensive system, I'd rather have undersized cover corners to help stop all the quick timed routes we're used to seeing in the nfcs.
I am thinking one free agent CB, one high draft pick CB, and one later round CB. And I think Leonard, Gorrer, Gaiter stick around for depth.

sig pic by chace1986 PewterReportMC.... \\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago? A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\"
